Voting For Other Peoples' Tax Increases

You don't still wonder about the gap between rich and poor do you? Do you wonder about the politicization of it?

In 2009, roughly 47% of households, or 71 million, will not owe any federal income tax, according to estimates by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.

Some in that group will even get additional money from the government because they qualify for refundable tax breaks.

So there you have it - almost half the country gets to vote on the ever-increasing tax bill paid for by the other half. Now, who wants to reopen that crap about the "rich" not paying their fair share?
